One of the places I've done a lot of filming in since I moved to Brockville is a patch of land north of the city called the Mac Johnson Wildlife Area. I'm always drawn to nature, and I'm lucky that this it's just a few minutes away from where I live. During the winter months, the pond freezes over and a section of the ice opens to the public for skating. I shot this around the MJWA and at the outdoor skating rink. I wanted to get some shots of people skating outside, but haven't filmed too many people when it hasn't been for work, since you never know what someone's reaction might be when there's a camera being pointed at them by a stranger, but the people there were pretty good about me shooting. Filmed on Feb 15th, 2010 (Family Day) on my Canon HV30.
